Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cardiac nursing care during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
- Collaborate with cross-functional medical teams
- Document patient records using Epic EHR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with precision
- Mentor new nursing staff during rotations
- Participate in weekend shift quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- 2+ years ICU/CCU experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Weekend shift availability mandatory
- Epic EHR proficiency
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
- BSN or higher degree preferred
