Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Perform vital signs, injections, and EKG procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and patient scheduling
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality
- Handle triage and emergency response protocols
- Maintain sterile examination environments
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (AAMA or NCCT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong EHR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently on weekends
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Flexibility for potential holiday coverage
