Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during weekend shifts
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with 100% accuracy
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and specialists for urgent cases
- Supplement staff scheduling for weekend coverage needs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Handle patient inquiries and triage critical situations
- Prepare weekend shift reports for weekday handover
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years of clinical coordination experience
- Certification in Healthcare Management (CHM) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Strong crisis management and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
