Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using AWS and microservices architecture
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines for federal compliance projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation standards
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Implement security best practices and ensure adherence to federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with cloud technologies
- Expertise in Java, Python, and at least one modern JavaScript framework
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with federal security standards (NIST, FedRAMP) and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one immediately
