Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations for 20+ bed cardiac unit
- Implement evidence-based care protocols and quality initiatives
- Mentor staff nurses through performance evaluations and training
- Collaborate with physicians on patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state regulations
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
- Respond to emergency situations with decisive leadership
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (compact license acceptable)
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- 5+ years clinical nursing experience
- 3+ years leadership/supervisory experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong knowledge of cardiac care protocols
- Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills
