Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 15+ bed critical care unit
- Develop and implement evidence-based nursing protocols
- Mentor and supervise team of 25+ nursing professionals
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards
- Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care plans
- Manage quality improvement initiatives and patient outcomes
- Handle staff scheduling and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Current CA RN license (required)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 5+ years critical care experience
- 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments
