Responsibilities
- Provide critical care assessment and intervention for cardiac patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data with rapid response capabilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records documentation
- Educate patients and families on cardiac care protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current TN RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
