Responsibilities
- Provide critical patient care in ICU/ER settings with rapid assessment and intervention skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving procedures (e.g., intubation, IV therapy)
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals using advanced medical technology
- Document patient records with precision and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge procedures
- Respond effectively to emergency codes and trauma situations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/ER experience (new grads with strong externships considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must obtain within 30 days if not current)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
