Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care in ICU/ER settings with rapid assessment skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding to critical changes
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams for complex patient cases
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to trauma codes and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN or Associate's degree with 2+ years ICU/ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment abilities
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced emergency environments
