Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize critical patients in high-acuity emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including trauma surgeons
- Maintain inventory of emergency supplies and equipment
- Provide patient education and discharge planning
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays
