Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in high-acuity emergency scenarios
- Administer medications and life-saving interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for rapid patient stabilization
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments
