Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize emergency patients using advanced triage protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for complex cases
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR systems
- Provide trauma care including ACLS/BLS certifications
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans
- Maintain strict infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current TN RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ED experience required
- ACLS/BLS certifications (TNCC preferred)
- Epic EMR proficiency
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-pressure environment
