Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency trauma cases
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize advanced life support techniques and emergency protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide patient/family education on emergency procedures
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years Emergency/Trauma Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with 5+ years experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
