Responsibilities
- Provide critical care for post-surgical and trauma patients in ICU setting
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning
- Implement emergency protocols during cardiac/respiratory events
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
