Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in fast-paced medical/surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient records with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Mentor new staff and support unit operations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- 2+ years acute care experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Strong Spanish language skills highly valued
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
