Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform ECGs
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
- Ensure patient environments are clean, safe, and well-organized
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with medical equipment setup and maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CNA or PCT certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
