Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for consultations
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Handle basic front desk duties including insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current Florida Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Spanish fluency a major plus
