Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and electronic health records
- Perform vital signs and basic lab tests (EKG, phlebotomy)
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain clinic efficiency
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Current MA certification or CMA/RMA credentials required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or ER setting
- BLS certification and NY state phlebotomy license
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, NextGen)
- Exceptional multitasking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
