Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and patient injections
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Handle patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and sterile environment maintenance
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced urgent care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
