Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering IT infrastructure projects within strict government compliance deadlines
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation to closure using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Coordinate with federal agencies and stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment
- Monitor KPIs and provide executive-level progress reporting
- Mentor junior project staff and improve organizational PMO processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years IT project management experience with government-contracted projects
- PMP or CAPM certification mandatory
- Expertise in infrastructure migration and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure)
- Proven ability to manage concurrent projects with competing priorities
- Strong familiarity with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP standards
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
