Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to patients in the ICU including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic EMR system
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and rapid intervention
- Provide education and support to patients and their families during critical care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (telemetry step-down acceptable)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years ICU experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
