Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials in and out of the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, scan, and stock incoming inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labeling and documentation is correct.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for commuting.
- Work History: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
