Responsibilities
- Lead 10-15 weekend warehouse staff during peak Saturday/Sunday shifts
- Optimize inventory flow and dock operations for weekend delivery deadlines
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre-shift inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (receiving, shipping, inventory)
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues
- Generate weekend performance reports for Monday leadership review
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanning technology
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Valid forklift certification and heavy equipment experience
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Basic Excel/MS Office proficiency for reporting
- Flexibility to work occasional holidays during peak seasons
