Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Resolve: Provide expert technical support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- User Assistance: Offer remote and on-site support to employees, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- System Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols in compliance with company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Asset Management: Track inventory of IT equipment, perform regular audits, and assist in the procurement of new hardware.
- Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries, providing clear and professional guidance to non-technical staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical support, help desk, or IT service desk role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Active Directory.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Availability: Must be available to work on-site in San Francisco during core business hours.
