Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks
- Develop and implement advanced quality control systems
- Manage supplier relationships and technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (required)
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
- Experience with automated production systems
- Proven problem-solving skills in high-volume manufacturing
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
