Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Optimize Kubernetes deployments on EKS/GCP with Helm and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Automate infrastructure monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
- Implement robust security protocols (IAM, network policies, secrets management)
- Collaborate with SRE teams to improve system reliability and incident response
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across AWS and GCP environments
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience with cloud-native technologies
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
- Certifications (AWS/GCP Certified DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- Demonstrated ability to optimize cloud costs and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with high-pressure incident handling
