Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for internal networks.
- Manage and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary.
- Implement and manage security controls for cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Provide security training and awareness programs to staff members.
- Review and approve code changes for potential security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance required (Secret with ability to upgrade).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
