We're seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities during night shifts, ensuring seamless operations, safety compliance, and team performance. This role is perfect for night owls who thrive in high-pressure environments and want to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all night shift warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Train and manage team of 15+ warehouse associates, fostering a productive culture
- Optimize inventory management systems using WMS software (SAP experience preferred)
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain 99.5% on-time delivery rate
- Conduct daily performance reviews and implement improvement strategies
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors for operational continuity
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift leadership
- OSHA certification and deep knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities
- Valid forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
