Responsibilities
- Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
- Log and categorize incoming tickets using our CRM system (Zendesk/ServiceNow) with high accuracy and urgency.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of service.
- Implement security patches and updates during off-peak hours to minimize system downtime.
- Conduct remote diagnostics and guide end-users through complex resolution steps via chat and phone.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and cloud-based productivity tools (Office 365, Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
