Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, performance, and availability 24/7 to ensure zero downtime.
- Execute scheduled software patches, security updates, and maintenance during low-traffic windows.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and application errors.
- Manage user access, permissions, and Active Directory provisioning for night staff.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure smooth operational handovers.
- Document all technical procedures, incident reports, and system configurations.
- Respond to critical alerts and resolve them within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Support, or Network Engineering.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments and scripting (PowerShell/Batch).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and reliably during the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry server hardware weighing up to 50 lbs when necessary.
