Responsibilities
- Monitor and Maintain: Oversee system performance, network stability, and server health during night shifts to ensure zero downtime.
- Ticket Resolution: Prioritize and resolve complex IT support tickets in a timely manner using remote tools and on-site troubleshooting.
- Security Management: Execute nightly security patches, update firewalls, and conduct vulnerability scans to protect company data.
- User Assistance: Provide technical assistance to internal teams and clients, ensuring they are fully supported even outside standard business hours.
- Hardware & Software: Install, configure, and repair hardware peripherals, printers, and software applications as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all incidents, resolutions, and system changes made during the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows and macOS environments, Active Directory, and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, RMM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
