Responsibilities
- Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology departments
- Ensure strict adherence to CLIA and CAP standards for quality control and regulatory compliance
- Analyze and report test results with precision, maintaining accurate documentation in LIS systems
- Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment including analyzers, microscopes, and automated systems
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide critical diagnostic information
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement processes
- Maintain sterile, organized work environments following OSHA safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field (required)
- ASCP or AMT certification (required; candidates with pending certification may apply)
- Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid Oklahoma state license or eligibility
