Job Overview:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our employees' technical needs. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage network connectivity, and ensure our business operations run smoothly without downtime.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and efficient technical support for hardware (laptops, printers) and software (OS, Office 365, troubleshooting).
- Manage and maintain the company inventory of IT assets and equipment.
- Respond to incoming support tickets via our Help Desk system with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Install, configure, and deploy new workstations and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with the senior engineering team to resolve complex network issues.
- Conduct regular security updates and patch management on all systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within Oklahoma City.
