Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Precept new nurses and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in hospital-wide safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ACLS/BLS certification)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
