Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to 24/7 threat alerts using SIEM platforms
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response coordination
- Develop/implement security controls and vulnerability management protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS)
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with SOC operations background
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Incident response certification (GCFA or equivalent)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
