Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company and customer standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a secure environment for all employees.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to streamline daily operations and meet daily targets.
- Shelving & Organization: Maintain organized warehouse aisles and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and safety guidelines.
