Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats across federal networks using SIEM tools
- Lead incident response for cyberattacks on government infrastructure
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection protocols
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with DHS/FBI on security operations
- Create executive-level security briefings for stakeholders
- Maintain NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with government clearance (active TS/SCI required)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP certification
- Expertise in Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto Networks
- Strong background in MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (mandatory)
