Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps best practices
- Contribute to API design and microservices architecture decisions

Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with emphasis on backend systems
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS services
- Proven track record of leading successful cloud deployments
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
