Immediate Opening for ICU Registered Nurse

Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in 12-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry, ventilators, and hemodynamic data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans
- Document all patient interactions and interventions in EMR system
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery protocols
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations including codes and rapid responses
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Proven ability to function effectively in high-stress environments
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
