Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira) to prioritize and resolve technical issues.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patch management, and system backups during off-peak hours.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software connectivity problems for remote and on-site staff.
- Collaborate with the weekday engineering team to document issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to IT security protocols and compliance standards during shift hours.
- Conduct ad-hoc user training sessions to empower staff with self-service capabilities.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or help desk operations.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
