Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Produce quarterly 'Future State Briefings' for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs focused on exponential technologies
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops for C-suite and innovation teams
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology impacts and future-proofing strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology impact assessment, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems convergence
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementations or published foresight work
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent practical experience
