We are currently hiring immediately for a Night Shift System Administrator to oversee our critical infrastructure during the off-hours window.

Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, system performance, and network traffic during night shifts to ensure optimal uptime and stability.
- Execute routine system patches, security updates, and backups to maintain system integrity and protect against cyber threats.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including hardware failures, software conflicts, and network outages, with minimal downtime.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and access controls to enforce strict security policies.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in our centralized knowledge base for the day shift team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades during the maintenance window.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a System Administrator, Network Engineer, or IT Support Specialist.
- Deep technical knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a night shift schedule (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during critical incidents.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
