We're seeking a passionate Senior UX/UI Designer to start immediately and lead user experience projects for federal agency clients. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
- Create pixel-perfect UI designs using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Develop design systems and component libraries for multi-platform applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and user journeys
- Conduct stakeholder presentations and gather feedback to iterate on designs
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across all deliverables
- Mentor junior designers and promote design excellence within the team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with portfolio showcasing complex systems
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong background in designing for government or enterprise applications
- Proven experience with user research methods (interviews, surveys, testing)
- Deep understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
