Responsibilities
- Incident Management: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex hardware, software, and network issues for internal stakeholders.
- System Monitoring: Monitor server health, network traffic, and system logs during off-hours to proactively identify and resolve potential outages.
- Helpdesk Support: Provide advanced technical support via ticketing systems and remote access tools for end-users.
- Security Maintenance: Enforce security protocols and conduct routine system patches during the night shift to minimize disruption during business hours.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation and update incident reports.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, IT operations, or helpdesk management.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills for evening communication with team leads.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military experience.
