Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the stability of critical infrastructure and server environments during night operations.
- Execute system patches, updates, and configuration changes to ensure security and performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues escalated during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless transition and knowledge transfer.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
- Document system changes and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Network Administration.
- Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Server+, or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus.
