Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers to ensure code quality.
- Design robust APIs and database schemas to support high-traffic applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features from concept to deployment.
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and performance issues in production environments.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on front-end or full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern CSS frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team setting.
- Understanding of security best practices and data privacy regulations (relevant to the DC area).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
