Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to define features and technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in existing systems.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and advocate for engineering best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript (and associated frameworks like React or Django).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first culture.
