Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native applications using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define technical roadmaps
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Conduct architectural planning for high-availability systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Python, Go, or Java with cloud-native patterns
- Strong AWS/Azure/GCP certification (AWS Solutions Architect preferred)
- Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
- Ability to start immediately and work onsite in Seattle
