Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices architecture using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with Product team to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Optimize system performance for 10M+ daily API calls
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical publications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers in agile environments
- Strong background in system design and scalability optimization
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Portfolio showcasing complex system architectures
