Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture on AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across 10+ engineering teams
- Optimize system performance for 100K+ daily active users
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with financial service APIs and security protocols
- Portfolio showcasing production-grade code and system designs
